Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves has reportedly agreed to a two-year, $8.5 million contract extension to remain with the franchise.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the agreement includes a player option for the second season. Reaves was set to become a restricted free agent this summer. The extension keeps him with the Lakers through the 2024-25 season.

Reaves has emerged as a valuable asset to the Lakers since joining the team in 2021. Known for his hustle, energy, and shooting ability, the 24-year-old has become a fan favorite and a key contributor off the bench.
