ByPack Heads To San Diego For Rady Children's Invitational And Final Four Rematch With Purdue
Wolfpack Set for West Coast Road Trip
The NC State men's basketball team is headed to San Diego for the 2023 Rady Children's Invitational, where they will face Purdue in a rematch of the 2023 NCAA Tournament Final Four.
The Wolfpack and Boilermakers will square off on Thursday, November 16th at 9:30 PM EST on ESPN2. NC State is coming off a 22-11 season, while Purdue went 29-8 and reached the Elite Eight.
Wolfpack Look to Build on Strong Finish
NC State finished the 2022-23 season strong, winning four of their last five games. The Wolfpack return four starters from that team, including All-ACC guard Terquavion Smith.
"We're excited about this opportunity to play in San Diego," said NC State coach Kevin Keatts. "Purdue is a great team, and we're looking forward to the challenge."
Purdue Seeks Revenge After Final Four Loss
Purdue is looking for revenge after losing to NC State in the 2023 NCAA Tournament Final Four. The Boilermakers return most of their key players from last season, including All-American center Zach Edey.
"We're going to use this game as a chance to show what we're capable of," said Purdue coach Matt Painter. "NC State is a great team, but we believe we can beat them."

Tickets for the Rady Children's Invitational are on sale now. Fans can purchase tickets at the San Diego Sports Arena box office or online at AXS.com.
The Rady Children's Invitational is a four-team tournament that benefits Rady Children's Hospital. The other two teams in the tournament are Arizona and Iowa.
